I was going to keep going from the last post, but today (Monday) has been so synchronized and miraculous that I’ve forgotten everything. I appreciate a breakdown of a felt realness. Not because it makes everything false, but proves that it was mostly real because I was focusing (insisting) on it. Where the attention goes the qi flows and all of that. It also feels like a relatable sensation that I’m feeling on the scaled up plane. The deterioration while in awe of what continues to be.
Mostly what I like about this sensation of delight because something is cracking up is that I feel more connected to other people in the world. Not on the metaphysical/energetic plane. I’m in the space and I am willing to adjust my plan and help out, diverge from the path to give support or attention, etc etc. My back is turned on the invisible, I turn, and so much has fallen into place.
I wonder often about the human inclination to monitor. I want to track my hormone cycle, my sleep, my evolution as a practitioner, as an artist. I want to track the elements in the space, other’s energy as it moves in and through me. I resist being scientific which means I spend a lot of time listening. I then get distracted because something very material draws me away from my usual only to realize once I return that mostly what I’ve been doing is working too hard and building a personal surveillance state.
I’m vowing to stop, but I’ve already got a long To Do List spanning over days, wondering about the energetic run off that’ll show up in class tomorrow morning, sensing that ovulation is extended this cycle because of how my hair curls…

Iron Shirt On Ramp (36 min standing, squatting) A practice that (re)introduces some basic forms of Iron Shirt practice. Use this video as a way to get back into the forms, or use it as a more intensive practice (doing more reps.) Holding Tree, Turtle, and a modified Peacock are all practiced. Finding the coil of the muscles so that they can hug the bones. The sun started to set, we keep going.
